Jira Software 8.3 .x Releases
Atlassian support has announced the release of a new version of the Jira project management tool.
Highlights of this release include:.

Jira Server Mobile App Released
The official mobile application of Jira Server has been released!
Previously, the app was only available for “Jira Cloud” so if you’re using the server version, that’s good news.

Like the Jira Cloud app, the Jira Server app lets you search and browse projects, boards, and any issues your team is working on.
With a smartphone, you can use it from task confirmation to progress, so it will be easier to proceed the project.

CDN Feature Released for Jira Data Center
The Content Delivery Network (CDN) feature for Jira Data Center has been released.
This feature improves page load time by serving static assets (JavaScript, CSS, and fonts) from a server closer to the user.
AdoptOpenJDK JRE bundled with Jira
With the end of official Oracle JDK 8 updates, Atlassian has started supporting OpenJDK in Jira 7.13 to provide a free JDK option.
This release improves the integration with OpenJDK.
Jira will now ship with AdoptOpenJDK JRE 8 instead of the Oracle JDK.
The archive does not contain Java and only applies to the Jira installer.
Oracle JDK is still supported.
List Custom Changes After Upgrade
With the 8.3 upgrade, you now have a list of files that have been custom modified.
This update makes it easier to incorporate changes made to older Jira files, which had to be reapplied to the same files in the upgraded version.
Custom Field Search Filter
New search filters for custom fields.
Improved searchability when you don’t know the exact name of a custom field.
Others related to improvement
Other improvements include project browsing performance, bulk mail, cluster locking mechanisms in Data Center, and re-indexing.
